Spring Chick Cupcakes


Don't mind the chick on the right, my friend took a big bite before I was able to take a nice photo =)!

I loooove making little animals out of cakes and cupcakes. If you ever have the chance, make these for a friend's birthday! They'll love it and I'll bet you anything people will be saying "oh my gosh those are so cute!".

Recipe Adapted from Martha Stewart.

Spring Chick Cupcakes 
Ingredients:
- any cupcake recipe + any buttercream recipe
- toasted shredded sweetened coconut flakes
- almonds
- red licorice

Directions:
1) Bake cupcakes. Cool completely
2) Spread buttercream frosting all over a cupcake. Use a spatula to coat sides thickly with frosting
3) Press toasted coconut into frosting
4) Use chocolate chips for the eyes, an almond for the beak, and red licorice for the feet & comb (just push them into the frosting with your hands)

Short Post

Dodgeball last night..was INTENSE. I helped my brother's team sub for a girl and man, it was tough compared to my other days of play!

I haven't lifted weights in 4 days =(.

Miss Busy Bee


I miss my friends. (I'm the one in the red dress)

I have been so stressed because of school! On top of that, I'm working 4-5 shifts a week, volunteering on the weekends, trying to work out all stuff for co-op, and balancing time for the gym and the dodgeball league. It's hard for me to fit in time with my friends unless we have the same type of schedule! Whatever happens, gotta stay positive...

My aunt just came over and we're having some pho tonight.
Work out of the day: rest =). (ok maybe not a full rest because my brain will not be resting! haha)

400 rep workout - Bodyrock TV


About an hour ago, I completed the 400 rep workout.

...o m g. it was brutal. Try it, you will not be disappointed by the different varieties of burpees in this workout! Make sure you time yourself too. My time was exactly 50 minutes. =)
